Farah Janoodien
Finance Manager
Farah joined DML in 2022 and is our Finance Manager.
Farah positions herself with a strategic bird’s eye view of the company and stays involved in all areas of DML accounting. She also maintains a good understanding of all company functions by being a spirited team player.
Farah is a qualified chartered accountant and as such has a keen eye on all things financial. She is able to deal with the specific smaller financial matters as well as have a solid understanding of the bigger picture. Her input into property financial matters is well valued.
Background
Farah completed both her BCom Accounting and Postgraduate in Accounting at the University of the Western Cape, and thereafter completed her Articles in the Audit Arena at Mazars, and in Management Accounting at the Provincial Treasury. During this time, Farah also completed both her board exams (Initial test of Competence and Assessment of Professional Competence) to become a Chartered Accountant.
Farah decided to take a year off after having her twin girls, and spend some quality time with them, and then joined the DML team on her return to the workforce.
She spends most of her free time outdoors trying new sports and adventuring with her children.
