Our practice of South African Administrative and Constitutional Law is conducted closely with our Privacy, Litigation and Regulatory and Compliance Law units.
We are experienced in assisting clients with the protection of their constitutional and administrative rights and the exercise of their public powers or functions in the public, semi-public and private spheres.
We are well versed with the body of constitutional principles, the statutory framework created through the operation of the Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights, and the common law principles that are relevant in the arenas of Administrative and Constitutional Law.
We are also skilled in the application of these principles to all relevant areas of the law which may be subject to constitutional influence. Our knowledge of legislation and common law have been successfully put to the test by existing clients.
Not only does our team have competencies in Administrative and Constitutional Law, but Peter Turner, an associate in the firm’s litigation unit, holds a Master of Laws qualification in Constitutional Law: Theory and Litigation.
