The National Credit Act and the National Credit Regulations require a wide array of persons and businesses to register as Credit Providers with the National Credit Regulator (NCR).

An unregistered Credit Provider will be unable to claim back interest on amounts loaned or advanced to consumers and registration is therefore critical to your business’s wellbeing.

For a full explanation of the requirements, exemptions and consequences of registration, please see our article: Am I Required to Register as a Credit Provider?

How do I register?

Dingley Marshall Lewin is now offering a streamlined application process for our clients. Having worked with the National Credit Regulator in the past we recognised a need for our clients to have comprehensive legal advice and assistance in the application process.

We charge a fixed fee to take your application to the Regulator so that the costs of the application do not outweigh the benefits of being registered.

We assess financial products and advise on the requirements of registration; compile necessary information and documents; ensure that your application is comprehensively formulated and liaise with the NCR on your behalf.

Having processed a number of successful applications we are well positioned to assist our clients in securing your registration as a Credit Provider.
