Matthew is a Senior Associate at Dingley Marshall Lewin having joined us in 2014 as a candidate attorney.  

He was admitted as an attorney in 2015 and practices within our Litigation department, also handling Commercial, Corporate and ICT Law.

Matthew obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Law and Economics before completing a postgraduate Bachelor of Laws, both at University of Stellenbosch.  He then completed the full time training offered by the School for Legal Practice at University of Cape Town.

Before starting his articles, Matthew spent a year teaching English and Economics in Thailand.

Matthew is a founding member of Sustainable Brothers & Sisters, an environmental awareness and educational initiative.

After hours, Matthew is involved with as many sporting activities as possible. Having played squash at the highest level throughout his life, he now spends most of his time playing rugby for the False Bay Rugby Club. He is also a keen trail runner and enjoys the outdoors.
