Isabelle Meyer

Isabelle joined the DML litigation department in early 2026 as a Candidate Attorney.
Background
While completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Law, Isabelle developed a significant interest in Commercial law which inspired her decision to pursue an LLB. During her studies at the University of Cape Town, she actively engaged in university life and opportunities for service. Isabelle mentored first-year law students, volunteered for student organisations such as Students for Law and Social Justice (SLSJ), and gained valuable practical experience through her work at the UCT Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with Family Law matters and contributed to promoting meaningful access to justice.
Driven, detail-oriented and passionate about problem-solving, Isabelle is committed to developing her skills within litigation and hopes to build on her career in law with sound business acumen.
Beyond the law, Isabelle has a deep appreciation for the arts. She is often found at the theatre attending a ballet or enjoying live musical performances. She also values staying active and spending time outdoors in nature.
